Summary of the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Social Media Executive to help drive this exciting and growing part of the agency’s digital marketing proposition. You’ll support with the planning and execution of organic and paid campaigns for multiple campaigns and clients, including global brands, and be asked to research, plan and copywriter, drawing on a wide range of skills to delight our clients with social media activities that can drive audiences from awareness to conversion.

Working closely with the Social Media Manager, you’ll have experience with different social media channels and how to develop and implement organic and paid social media strategies. You’ll also know how to engage with online communities and influencers, produce content in-line with communication objectives and provide clients with in-depth reports and recommendations.



As a Social Media Executive, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Working with the Social Media Manager on activity and content that drives successful campaign schedules and propositions for our clients aligned to their social media objectives and marketing strategy.
  • Writing of creative social media posts and ad copy that aligns to our clients’ tone of voice and to generate engagement
  • Uploading and scheduling of content on multiple social media platforms
  • Running paid social campaigns across multiple social platforms which includes planning, set up, optimisation and budget management
  • Supporting social media strategies through competitive research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Analysing social media conversations around relevant subjects to understand influencers and provide recommendations on how to engage these influencers and the wider social media community.
  • Suggesting recommendations to improve social media strategy for optimising results and improving customer engagement
  • Capturing and analysing social media data and analytics to provide insights, best practices and relevant reports
  • Monitoring trends and innovations in social media and appropriately recommend to increase effectiveness of the channel for clients

  • At least one year of experience managing social channels and writing for social media at either an agency or in-house at a B2B company using LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • Experience of managing media budgets for paid social campaigns
  • Active in a variety of social media activities, such as blogging and commenting, and understands social media tools, including Hootsuite, and techniques
  • Able to write social media posts and alter tone and style dependent on the audience.
  • Experience of social media measurement and performance metrics, including use of Excel
