The role

Our approach to Inside Sales is different. We know everyone probably says that, but it’s true. We research our prospects, their organizations and their industries. Then we make calls, write emails and use every available channel to create strategic conversations for our clients. We make propositions and products relevant to every prospect, aligned to both their role and their company objectives.


Our USA Inside Sales function is rapidly expanding, and this has created the need for a new role to support with the day to day running of the department.


Your core responsibility is to ensure our Inside Sales team is equipped to deliver brilliant outcomes for our clients. You will be responsible for team resource planning as well as daily/weekly and monthly activity balancing, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the team understands and adheres to their campaign briefs whilst also leading regular program progress reviews – client facing and internal. This will include: reviewing and advising on daily reports, activity monitoring, performance management and working with the other departments across the business to ensure program success.


You will be responsible for the activity of the team day to day, ensuring that they are working with optimum focus & efficiency; whilst also curating a best practice library and delivering regular training sessions in step with the UK team and to support with team performance.


As Inside Sales Operations Manager, you’ll be energetic and tenacious, able to motivate yourself and others, whilst planning and managing your own time. You’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a keen eye for detail and plenty of commercial acumen.

You will always be looking at ‘how you can support the team to deliver for our clients in the most efficient way’. You’ll have a background in sales support with the ability to drive get the best outcomes for our clients each day, week and month. You are a problem solver and have a passion for organizational excellence in sales and marketing program delivery.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Inside Sales team with activity planning to deliver the objectives and metrics agreed with our clients and stakeholders
  • Drive our quality assurance program through activity monitoring, role plays, lead sheet review, best practice implementation and, where appropriate, sales satisfaction feedback
  • Responsible for resource planning including long-term capacity, day-to-day workflow management and temporary resource for the team
  • Develop, curate and continuously improve the best practice library for Inside Sales USA
  • Ensure team is fully skilled in company and client processes, including the organization of onboarding new starters and contractors
  • Report progress against targets as well as time spent vs program budgets each week to Head of Inside Sales
  • Inside Sales setup and governance of campaigns to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations
  • Designing and facilitating bespoke training sessions for the Inside Sales team focused on key knowledge gaps
  • Key interface with the UK team to understand the latest coaching / techniques so as to develop, curate and continuously improve the best practice library for Inside Sales USA

KPI’s

  • Being seen as the go-to person in the eyes of the client and client services for day-to-day program support, gathering insights from the front line and using this information to inform program improvements
  • Tracking and ensuring the team meet or ideally exceed their program targets each month
  • Pipeline tracking of TQL’s to closed/won revenue
  • Measurable improvement in client satisfaction on TMP’s monthly marketing monitor

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record in supporting a consultative Inside Sales team
  • Experience of managing resource & planning workload
  • Effective planning and organizational skills – able to juggle, prioritize and manage
  • Demonstrable understanding of a B2B Sales & Marketing environment, complex sales propositions and long sales cycles
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills – able to engage & influence
  • Strong IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, plus experience of working with CRM software, such as SFDC & Microsoft Dynamics
  • Able to build and maintain internal and external relationships
