Job Purpose

We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our exciting and growing Digital team and play a vital role supporting our clients. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll need to be a hands-on all-round digital marketeer with activities including search marketing, social media, website optimisation and reporting.


Working closely with the rest of the team and stakeholders across the agency, you’ll draw on a range of skills to support the planning and execution of multiple campaigns and ongoing optimisation activities for demand generation, ABM and partner marketing programmes. This role is ideal for a junior digital marketeer who thrives on challenges and you’ll have plenty of opportunity for training and development to learn new skills and help guide our digital marketing proposition.

Requirements

Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  1. Website management and optimisation – support with the publishing of new content onto the websites of our clients and the set-up and ongoing management of CRO and marketing automation programmes. (30% of time)
  2. Social media – support organic and paid social activities to generate engagement and drive successful campaign delivery. (20% of time)
  3. Search marketing – be the go-to specialist for SEO activities and support paid search activities with campaign set-up, management and ongoing optimisation. (20% of time)
  4. Reporting – utilise a range of reporting tools, including Google Analytics, to report on campaign and website performance for our clients. (20% of time)
  5. Innovation - monitoring trends and innovations in digital marketing and appropriately recommend to increase the effectiveness of digital channels for clients. (10% of time)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A digital native with a very keen interest in digital marketing and a desire to keep abreast of what’s happening in this space
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Google Analytics, SEO tools (such as Moz or SEMrush), Google Ads and marketing automation (such as HubSpot)
  • Positive and proactive approach to workloads, deadlines and client demands
  • Highly organised and able to work independently and at a fast pace
  • Accurate and with a high attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and a team player
  • Approachable, professional and can easily get on with a variety of people in different situations
  • Happy to roll your sleeves up to help with ad-hoc requirements to support other parts of the business

Experience

  • At least one year of digital marketing experience at either an agency or in-house at a B2B company
  • Experienced managing budgets for paid media campaigns, especially paid social and paid search
  • Experienced with running reports on digital marketing activity and drawing conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ideally, experience in the technology or software sector
