Summary of role

You’re a collaborative Senior Marketing Manager and a real project-managing professional, able to guide and mentor more junior team members whilst delivering projects simultaneously. At TMP you’ll be responsible for developing an excellent understanding of our clients’ objectives, and ensuring campaigns with a wow factor are delivered consistently to brief. Building a trusting relationship with your clients and your colleagues, you will run client campaigns providing weekly reports to the Head of Client Services, while guiding clients through the delivery of complex programs.


You are able to manage and deliver marketing programs to plan and budget, working with and gaining quality deliverables from virtual teams to deliver on client agreed objectives. You are passionate about finding solutions to problems, and are able to own and run marketing programs with confidence.


You are able to critically appraise content, design and planning work from a B2B marketing perspective as well as reaching out and building relationships with client contacts by explaining marketing programs in a way that excites and delights them.


Managing budgets, timelines, internal teams and client expectations; it is your job to take the clients’ brief and deliver to that brief, working with various teams to support in building strategy for those programs. Your strong business acumen means you are able extend influence within client. This enables you to recognize new areas within the client's business where TMP might engage, and flag them to the Head of Client Services, thus growing your accounts and deepening relationships with the client.

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Strong project management and budget management skills
  • Strong time management skills: juggling multiple campaigns and clients will be a regular occurrence
  • Top level understanding of all types of B2B marketing campaigns, their application in enterprise ICT and how they deliver on the client's strategy and desired outcomes.
  • Able to critically appraise content, design and planning work from a B2B marketing and client proposition perspective
  • Able to reach out and build relationships with client contacts, explain marketing programs and TMP’s role, manage expectations and inspire confidence, gain client input and deliverables in a timely fashion to enable programs to be executed according to plan
  • Able to compile content and lead weekly campaign reviews with clients with a focus on outcomes vs objectives
  • Recognizes new areas within the client's business where TMP might engage
  • Able to provide value add suggestions and tactical recommendations to marketing programs
  • Collaborative, team player able to offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team and on some occasions manage one direct report
  • Able to develop accurate weekly forecasts, with an awareness of program timelines and thus time/cost to complete
  • Confident in front of a client
  • Passionate about not only the quality of the output but also the marketing thinking

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous agency experience (or similar)
  • Experience of leading/guiding a team
  • Project management and budget management experience
  • Time spent developing campaign proposals following a client brief, including the set-up of budgets
  • Evidence of planning and organising multiple projects to tight timescales and delivering to measurable objective
  • A good understanding of B2B marketing practices
  • Ability to own and build client relationships
